I’m not sure about you, but I have just about heard enough talk of bailouts. My motivation in that is not at all politically motivated. It is entirely selfish. I ride my bike every day, and I listen to the radio while I ride, and every time there is a news break, I hear something else about a bailout. I wrote about bailouts in my last blog about the Eco Fiber Bamboo Polo. Domino’s pizza is giving a bailout, out of the goodness of their hearts. Or, is it to make people forget about the infamous Domino’s Pizza “Toppings” video on YouTube. (Just thinking about those videos makes me want to throw up a little.) Anyway. How do bailouts involve Queensboro? (’cause, I can assure, we aren’t going to the bank cashing a big check from the government today, or any time soon.) Well, a few different ways.
We love to hear from our customers. (Even when they have constructive comments-that is how we improve as a company.) We recently got this comment on one of our surveys.
“I took the rain coat [from Queensboro] to the race track and we got rained out. I was blamed [by my fellow attendees], but I didn’t get wet!!” See, our rain coat bailed her out of the rain.
Our local radio station is giving stimulus packages in the form of crisp $100 bills handed out to people hither and yon. One of our customers thinks Queensboro’s regular operations are a stimulus package.
“You guys are your own stimulus package, I am grateful for your help. I’ll be ordering more when I get the chance. Someone is working hard over there.” Not me, I just blog. But, I digress.
Even as times are tough, you can’t forget about your employees. This customer sure doesn’t.
“I have been ordering polo shirts as employee of the month gifts for our company since August 2007, and our orders have always been of excellent quality and service. It is refreshing to be able to offer a token of gratitude to our associates that is of excellent quality and reasonable price. In today’s economy crunch it is more difficult to offer perks without marginal impact. Thank you for helping us thank our associates and keep up the terrific work.”
So, that customer who said we were our own stimulus package, well, I do like to think that we are. Good call, happy customer! How can Queensboro gear stimulate your business? Here’s how:
-Provide a professional look for your staff, thus inspiring confidence in your ability to do the job right, which will, in turn, bring you more business.
-Outshine the competition. This is easy to do, especially if they made their own shirts with iron-on transfers that quickly peel off. Queensboro’s printed shirts do not fade, crack or peel off over time, so they’ll last as long as you need them to.
-Increase brand recognition. Every time you go out, wear one of your Queensboro shirts, or carry your laptop in a custom-embroidered laptop case. People will ask you about the logo, which opens the window for you to talk to them about your business, and potentially gain new customers.
